People still buy from BP even after the very, very bad publicity they had which one would've thought that they were doomed but they weren't. Now I believe they are the ones driving the petrol price in South Africa and you still see people using BP. At least a person can then associate that it is a company. However, I do also want to point out that people buy people. We are naturally attracted to seeing a person's face. At the end of the day it is about what brand you are building and how you want to build it. I explained to her that it is far worse saying "yes" and then not following through. With regards to services, I agree, especially in the corporate sector, service is really appalling. I am using data from websites like hellopeter and it is really scary what the levels of good service are. Banks are the biggest culprits - it seems they might just be totally out of bounds.
