I do like this homemade website
A friend of mine who has been helping me out for extra money inboxed me to say that she has designed her little website for her care work. Now I know this person personally, as I said she is a friend and one of the things she is not is a computer whizz she says shes not but secretly I think she is ;). She did not leave me a link to look at of course and probably because of the business I’m in and I’m quite pedantic.
Anyway, so now I just have to see what it looks like and all because Lisa is a people’s person and her talent is not in graphics or web design, this is in no way an insult I’m just explaining the type of person Lisa is. So I go to find out and here it is: The Daily Round and guess what I just loved it. You know why because it was simple clean and authentic. Yes it looks homemade but it is authentic because she is an individual offering a specialised service. I loved how she wrote her words which clearly demonstrates who she is and what it is she does. Love it, Love it, Love it!
Now this does not mean that everyone should go and build their own home made websites well yes you can, nothing is stopping you. It depends what market you are aiming at and what the end result is. If you are wanting to grow a business, start a franchise, become a corporate company or an agency then this is not the way to go and you would need to up your game and pay a professional. However, as an individual like Lisa who is appealing to a certain type of audience I think it is brilliant and perfect because it shows her passion, her realism and what she loves doing which is taking care of the elderly. She is good at it and it shows in how she has put it together. For that audience it works. I wish I knew Lisa when my gran was alive as she would’ve been my caregiver of choice. Lisa’s website resonates exactly this. I’m so very proud of you right now!
